Ever since I saw them back in the early 1990’s in Tallahassee, FL I have been pushing Mike Ferris and his (old) band The Screaming Cheetah Wheelies at every opportunity. Since I have been delving into some older stuff lately, I figured my first music post would be about someone that in my humble opinion, is the most underrated blues/soul singers in the biz. Sure…he’s doin’ gospel, but damn can he make ya feel it.
